I have successfully made a whipper snipper powered bike. The specifications are a 25cc talon 2-stroke motor mounted on a huffy bicycle. It is friction driven by the spindle driving the back tyre.
Problems incurred:
1. Tyre wear down quickly
2. Slippage between the spindle and the tyre
3. Excessive heat from the spindle, due to the friction and high RPM
